“The Asakaa Movement Is Not Dead” – Yaw Tog

Could we take ourselves back to when Asakaa was the biggest musical group in Ghana? They emerged from the golds in the Ashanti Region to give us group bangers, back to back.

Enough, though there’s still enough of the Asakaa movement bangers in the system, some people still feel this is not the Asakaa we know, the Asakaa that had Ghana music done through the COVID period.

However, in an interview with Empress Nana Ama McBrown on Onua Showtime, Ghanaian trapster Thorsten Owusu Gyimah, better known as Yaw Tog, was queried by entertainment pundit Kwesi Ernest on why the Asaaka movement’s vibe is no more.

Answering the question intelligently, Yaw Tog revealed that the Asakaa vibe is not dead; however, everyone is doing their own thing, which is making people recognize the group, but there is still Asakaa.
