
It’s that time of year for TIME magazine, who just opened the voting for TIME Person of the Year 2015. Drake and Nicki Minaj hold it down for hip-hop in this year’s 58-person shortlist, while the likes of Amy Schumer, Stephen Colbert and Adele (whose new album has sold an astonishing 2.
3 million dollars in its first three days) also get the nod.
Aubrey picks up a nomination for his platinum-selling mixtape If You Are Reading This It’s Too Late, defeating Meek Mill by unanimous decision and the viral success of Hotline Bling. Although Nicki didn’t release a new album this year, her outspoken commentary on race, gender and sexuality, along with her memorable VMAs performance and world tour, earns her a nod.
