On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, multi-award-winning Ghanaian singer Wendy Asiamah Addo paid a visit to her little admirer Tracy Shay at her school.
As she and Tracy’s mother visited the little girl while she and her colleagues were studying in the classroom in the morning, the adult musician was seen smiling in an internet video.
Wendy Shay was excited during the visit and promised to support the primary school class five student’s education all the way to university when she grows up and becomes an adult.
Tracy Shay was taken aback by the well-known singer’s kind act, which caused her classmates to cheer her as they stood in front of the class.
At the music event, Tracy and the performer shared the stage.
But when a video of the little girl dancing in the throng went viral on social media, Ghanaians reacted angrily.
Within 24 hours following the event, Tracy Shay’s dance video to Wendy Shay’s Too Late had over 20 million hits on TikTok alone.
Following the uproar over Tracy Shay’s dancing skills at the music event, Wendy Shay shared a picture of the little dancer and asked to see her.
