“When I Eat fufu, I use my hand, When I Eat Soup, I use a Spoon, And When I Eat rice, I Use A Fork” – Former Black Stars Coach, Otto Addo

The Ghana football association has parted ways with coach Otto Addo.
The decision comes after Ghana suffered back-to-back defeats to Austria and Germany, extending the coach’s losing streak to four consecutive matches.
Addo’s dismissal comes at a critical time, with the senior national team preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Ghana has been drawn in a tough group alongside Panama, England, and Croatia.
Meanwhile, Minister for Sports and Recreation Kofi Iddie Adams has acknowledged that Ghana is not yet fully prepared for the tournament but assured that structures are being put in place to ensure readiness.
In a video making waves on social media after his sacking, Otto Addo was explaining his style of football in a foodie analogy that got fans laughing.
