The feeling when reminiscing about how your life would have been if you didn’t get to your current economic status through the discovery of others? Yes, that’s the feeling of rapper Samuel Frimpong, better known as Medikal.
Medikal has gained recognition in Ghana. Thirug Rao’s music has showered praise on the person who discovered rap because he feels if not for rap, he would have been a mopper in a restaurant by now, but the genre and his hard work have kept him in the position he holds now.
Expressing his gratitude through X (formerly Twitter), Medikal wrote:
Whoever discover rap really spoil there for me, like by now I de mop restaurant, hard.
