Patricia Helen Heaton is an American actress, producer, and comedienne known for her roles in Thirtysomething, Memoirs of an Invisible Man, Beethoven, Room for Two, Someone Like Me, and Women of the House.
She played Debra Barone in CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond from 1996-2005, receiving seven Primetime Emmy Award nominations and five Screen Actors Guild Award nominations.
Heaton also won Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series in 2003. From 2009 to 2018, she starred in ABC comedy series The Middle, winning the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.

Heaton studied at St. Raphael’s Catholic Primary School and Bay High School in Bay Village, Ohio, and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama at Ohio State University. She has starred in television series Everybody Loves Raymond and appeared on The Middle in 2009
She has done endorsement work for various brands, including Sunbelt Chewy Chocolate Chip Granola Bars, Nestle Treasures Candy, Shoe Pavilion, Feeding America, and Autism Speaks. Her main source of income comes from her acting career.
In 2001, she co-founded FourBoys Films with her husband David Hunt, which produced the Sony feature comedy Moms’ Night Out and TNT’s The Engagement Ring. She also launched her homewares line, Patricia Heaton Home, with Walmart.
