Following Dede Ayew, Ghana's captain, shocking penalty miss against Uruguay, Ghanaians are furious on social media.

Despite a sluggish start to the game, Ghana managed to create one opportunity when Jordan Ayew shot the ball and Mohammed Kudus collected the rebound to give Ghana a penalty in the 19th minute.

While signaling an offside, referee Daniel Siebert instead gave Ghana a penalty after consulting with the video assistant referee.

Although Andre Ayew offered to take the kick for the Black Stars, he mishit the ball to the right, toward the goalkeeper.
