A Lot Of People Are Living In Darkness And They Don’t Know – Wendy Shay

More often than not, Wendy Shay concludes virtually every social media post with her catchphrase, “Ghana wake up,” leaving many Ghanaians to ponder its significance.
In an interview on Showbiz 360 with TV3’s Giovanni Caleb, Wendy Shay acknowledged that many people had questioned her about the source of her well-known adage.
Wendy Shay clarified the reasoning behind the well-known adage by saying,
“I believe that accepting reality is the first step toward achievement.”
She explained that her campaign’s motto served as a wake-up call for Ghanaians to face reality.
She said, “Many people are living in darkness and don’t know,” as she continued to provide her explanation.
The “darkness” Ghanaians experience, according to Wendy Shay, is what leads to others misjudging her and criticizing her.
She stated the following as her closing statement:
“I’ll always stand up for the truth because the truth is a sensitive subject.” I just have one message for the youth: “Wake up and discover your truth.”
