“I can’t point out exactly what the president has done to deserve praises” – Gisela Amponsah
Ghanaian influencer Gisela Amponsah has questioned the widespread praise for President John Dramani Mahama, saying her personal experience does not reflect the positive narratives being shared.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo, Gisela stated that so far, she has seen and heard the First Gentleman being praised on countless occasions.
However, Gisela noted that whenever she sees the president being praised, the only thing that comes to her mind is “What has he really done to deserve praise?”.
The content creator stated emphatically that the president hasn’t done anything so far when he came into office, hence, she cannot praise her.
Talking about the rampant “Dumsor”, Gisela noted that even before she stepped out, there was no light in her house so she doesn’t know exactly what the president has done.
“I can’t say anything about Ghanaians praising President Mahama because I don’t know what he is being praised for. I have not personally experienced anything for me to think he is doing well or not”, she noted, adding that “I can’t point out exactly what the president has done to deserve praises. Dumsor still happens in my area. Even when I was leaving home today, there was no light”.
