Counsellor Lutterodt released after arrest over Daddy Lumba burial comments
According to a new update, Counsellor Lutterodt has been released after being picked up by police over comments linked to the late Daddy Lumba.
His arrest was reported on Monday, March 9, 2026, following statements he made during a programme on Power FM the previous weekend.
The media personality got himself in trouble with his utterances regarding Lumba and his final resting place.
During the broadcast, Lutterodt while reacting to claims that Lumba was buried at his East Legon residence, called on the Ga youth to go to the property and verify the claim with pickaxes.
“If it is true that Lumba has been buried in his East Legon house, I want to ask the Ga boys that we shouldn’t wait for the police,” he said on air. “Let’s move to Daddy Lumba’s residence.”
He went further to suggest that those who responded should search the compound to confirm whether the musician had indeed been buried there.
“Walk to the house with pickaxe, and let’s find where the body has been buried,” he said.
