Ghanaian performer King Paluta has talked candidly about the influences that shaped his present approach, stating that fan insults and criticism were a major factor.
In an interview with AMEYAW TV’s A-Z Show, the “Makoma” hitmaker clarified that although critical remarks might be unpleasant, they frequently encourage musicians to think and grow.

“There are moments when insults get to you. But when you sit down and consider them and try what others are saying, it works in some way,” he said.
According to King Paluta, who first became well-known as a rapper, he has always recognized that singing is a part of who he is. He explained that both of his parents were choristers in a Catholic church and ascribed this to his upbringing.
“I was born into a family of singers, somehow. Before rap, I knew I was a singer since both of my parents were choristers at a Catholic church. But after I found myself on the streets, my life took a different turn, leading me to originally pursue a career in rap,” he revealed.
Even though he started singing more and stopped rapping, Paluta admitted that his rap career was very important in creating his core fan base. These early supporters, he noted, have stood by him even as he explores a new musical direction.
