Diana Asamoah Begs FDA To Check ‘Sobolo’ Sold To Church Members By Pastors

Pastors who sell sobolo and other things to churchgoers have angered Ghanaian gospel artist and evangelist Diana Asamoah.
In a televised interview with Accra’s Angel FM, the musician urged the FDA to target Ghanaian religious leaders who sell food within their churches without permission.
She pointed out that the FDA needed to go to all the churches in the nation and check the sobolo and other products that were being offered to members as spiritual remedies.
“Because the FDA hasn’t evaluated sobolo to ensure it’s safe for human consumption, some pastors claim to sell it as blood.
I’m pleading with the FDA to visit different churches to see if they’re offering their people safe products,” she stated.
In order to determine if their church members are healthy enough to consume the sobolo and other food products they are selling, she advises pastors who wish to do so to have medical specialists conduct tests on them.
Diana Asamoah said that after ingesting the goods that certain pastors sold them, several people experienced serious health problems, such as diabetes.
She said, “Any pastor who wants to sell sobolo or any other items in their church should hire doctors to test the blood of the church members to check whether they will benefit from drinking the sobolo. A lot of people have been diagnosed with diabetes because of the sobolo and other items pastors have sold to their church members.”
