Elikem The Tailor Apologizes To Sarkodie, Reveals He Didn’t Mean To Disrespect His Brand

We all remember when popular Ghanaian actor and tailor Elikem Kumordzie, also known as Elikem The Tailor, criticized Ghanaian heavyweight rapper Michael Owusu Addo, best known by his stage name Sarkodie, for the clothing he wore during the filming of his country music video.

Many Sarkodie fans were incensed by Elikem’s remarks, as were those naturals who thought he might have used a more diplomatic approach to communicate with Sarkodie, especially through his DM.

Following the uproar, Elikem ultimately apologized to Sarkodie on UTV’s United Showbiz program and said that he did not mean to denigrate Sarkodie’s reputation.

He emphasized that, being a tailor himself, he occasionally makes mistakes similar to those in the post and that he just made it on the fly of the moment as a joke.
