Encephal College of Health Technology is set to officially welcome its 2026 batch of admitted students at a matriculation ceremony scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026.
The ceremony will take place at the college campus from 9:00 a.m. and will bring together newly admitted students, school authorities, staff, families and other invited guests to formally mark the beginning of the students’ academic journey.
The event, themed around celebrating the enrolment of the 2026 admitted students, is expected to provide an opportunity for the new students to officially become part of the Encephal College community.
Encephal College of Health Technology is a health training institution with campuses in South West McCarthy Hills, Tetegu, Accra, and Tafo in Kumasi. The institution focuses on professional healthcare training and practical skills development.
The college currently offers programmes including Pharmacy Assistant, Health Facility Assistant and Science Laboratory Technician training. Its Pharmacy Assistant programme is described by the institution as a certificate programme certified by the Pharmacy Council of Ghana, combining classroom training with practical attachment.
The institution has also continued to emphasise practical training and employable skills. At its 4th Graduation Ceremony in November 2025, Labour, Jobs and Employment Minister Dr. Rashid Pelpuo encouraged young people to embrace employable skills, innovation and integrity. He also commended Encephal College for aligning its training with practical and employable skills.
The upcoming matriculation therefore marks another important stage in the college’s efforts to prepare young people for careers in Ghana’s healthcare sector.
For the 2026 admitted students, the ceremony will officially begin a new chapter of academic training, practical learning and professional development.
The college has urged all admitted students to be present and ready for the ceremony at 9:00 a.m.
