Self-styled relationship and financial expert Geh Geh has criticised Burna Boy’s recent car purchase, arguing that the vehicle has little practical value in Nigeria because of the country’s poor roads.
Geh Geh said Burna Boy should sell the car and use the money for something more useful.
“Burna Boy, that your car wey you buy eh, call Aboki iron condemn make them come carry that financial mistake wey you buy from your compound. It’s a shame,” he said in a video shared on X.
He questioned where Burna Boy would drive such a car in Nigeria, arguing that the country’s road network does not support the purchase.
“The country where you there, there’s no good road. There’s no good road to drive that car in this country,” he said.
Geh Geh also accused the singer of buying the car because of pressure to prove his wealth and status among other African artistes.
“Just because I say you want proof, say you get money pass every other artist in Africa. You carry your money, go buy what you not get value to you and the country where you come from,” he said.
He compared the purchase to buying an ordinary Toyota Corolla, which he said would have more practical value in Nigeria.
“Ordinary Corolla get value pass that scrap what you buy,” he added.
Geh Geh urged Burna Boy to sell the car and invest the money in improving his surroundings instead.
“Sell that car to Aboki. Use the money to take power and use in Nigeria,” he said.
