“Fameye Reminds Of Okomfo Kwadee” – Serwaa Amihere Says

Ghanaian media figure Serwaa Amihere co-signed Fameye’s first 2025 single, Fortified, and declared her support for the rapper. The music video for Fameye’s February 19 release of Fortified was released on April 24.
In the song, Fameye narrates the truths of life and the necessity for him to continue, showcasing his trademark storytelling skills.
The artist, following in the footsteps of legendary hiplife veteran Okomfour Kwadee, keeps emphasizing that music is spiritual. He has always had a great regard for the troubled Okomfuor Kwadee.
In 2020, he published a eulogy in Kwadee’s honor.
Kwadee has been absent for more than ten years because of what many regard as mental illness.
For exploiting the hiplife veteran’s name and picture in his song, Fameye was compelled to issue an apology.
The Nothing I Get hitmaker still praises Kwadee in his creative endeavors despite the backlash against his gesture.
Serwaa Amihere said in a recent article that Fameye and the troubled hiplife icon Kwadee have certain things in common.
The well-known figure supported Fameye and co-signed his song “Fortified,” stating:
“Fameye reminds me of Kwadee. Very talented artist. Congratulations on this one. I love it.”
