Media personality Alexis De Godson has dismissed speculation that the recent public exchanges between gospel musician Florence Obinim and her husband, Bishop Daniel Obinim, were orchestrated to promote Florence Obinim’s latest song.
Speaking on AsetenaPa, Alexis De Godson said he does not believe the reported marital disagreement was a calculated publicity strategy.
“The speculations that the disagreement between the two of them in the media is intentional to promote Florence Obinim’s new song cannot be true,” he stated.
According to him, his knowledge of Florence Obinim’s character makes it unlikely that she would deliberately use personal or marital issues to generate publicity for her music.
“Florence Obinim will never go that far for such a promotion,” he said.
Alexis De Godson maintained that the public should avoid drawing conclusions that the controversy was staged for commercial purposes, insisting that the matter should not be viewed as a marketing campaign for the singer’s latest release.
