Ghanaian youth have been characterized as being lazy by Kwadwo Safo Jnr, the Chief Executive Officer of the Kantanka group of firms.
Many Ghanaians believe that the president’s failure to change the cabinet and fire the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta, is to blame for the current economic crisis and Cedi’s depreciation.
While the majority of Ghanaians are criticizing the current administration and blaming them for the country’s economic crisis and lack of competency, Kwadwo Safo Jr.
, CEO of the Kantanka Group of Companies, has a different viewpoint.
Kwadwo Safo Jnr claims that the youth of this nation have failed to enter the world of entrepreneurship, particularly farming, due to their laziness. He continued by saying that not all of the bad things that happen to the citizens are the government’s fault.
In a tweet sighted on his page, he wrote, “Youth in farming is the way forward.
In every small way, anyone can. Plant something. Government isn’t responsible for it all. No. We the citizens should also take responsibility. The youth of today are honestly lazy.
Nobody wants to get his hands dirty”.
