Why Don’t You Marry Your Mother Then – Ghanaians React As Lilwin Says He Will Divorce His Wife If His Mother Asks Him To
Kwadwo Nkansah better known as Lilwin revealed in a recent interview that he would file for divorce from his wife if his mother asked him to.
No matter how much he loves his wife Lilwin says he will always listen to his mother’s advice if she ever asks him to file for divorce.
Lilwin clarified during the interview how important his mother was to his upbringing.
“I owe my success and life to my mother. If she ever tells me my wife is not good for me, I will trust her judgment,” Lilwin said.
Some responded to this by urging Lilwin to marry his mother since he respects her viewpoint more than his wife.
Critics contend that a marriage should not be influenced by outside forces including family since it is a partnership based on respect and trust between two people.
To marry his current spouse some have even claimed that he followed his mother’s advice to divorce his first wife.
“Marriage is about two people; no one else should have the power to interfere so drastically,” one user commented.
