Head Pastor Of Empowerment Worship Center Reveals Marrying With Just 600 Cedis Last Week
The lead pastor of Empowerment Worship Center, Prophet Gideon Danso, is now married, and his narrative has won many over.
Prophet Danso married his fiancée in a modest ceremony with no glitz or fanfare, just pure love and purpose, less than a week after introducing her to the audience.
Apostle Rev. Ben Doku, the founder of Overcomers Outreach Family Church, shared the good news with a cheering crowd in a heartwarming Facebook video.
“I came here to let you know that something happened throughout the week. In other words, Prophet Gideon Danso, your main preacher, got married.
Rev. Doku said, “I’m here to tell you that God has given you a mother.”
Members cheered and clapped as the newlyweds moved to the front with a big smile.
Even more shockingly, Prophet Danso then disclosed that the whole cost of their wedding was only GHC 600.
“Believe it or not, I had to pay GHC 600 for it. There was no suit, no veil, and no makeup. We served Malt and Fanta after I phoned the Reverend, who arrived; we signed, we took vows, and he blessed us. Nothing, no food. He laughed and remarked, “I owe no one anything.”
He was full of gratitude for his new wife, Gina: “I want to thank God for Gina. This girl is special. She has saved my pocket to build a church, to build a house for us to live in.”
