A video regarding the purported shooting event in Dormaa has been made public for the first time by Ghanaian broadcaster Kofi Adomah Nwanwani.
After well-known journalist Afia Pokuaa, also known as Vim Lady, stated on social media that Kofi Adomah had been shot in the eye and was undergoing medical care, the event, which happened on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, caused uncertainty.
Kofi Adomah’s wife, Miracle Adoma, better known as Nana Eturba, addressed the issue on social media, expressing her annoyance at the pervasive rumors.
Kofi Adomah had injuries that caused both of his eyes to become blurry. He was sent to Dubai for more sophisticated medical care after undergoing initial treatment in Ghana.
Later, Miracle Adoma revealed the full nature of her husband’s injuries, stating that the incident had caused him to lose sight in one eye and then the other.
She also criticized the Dormaa traditional authority, such as the Dormaahene, for not contacting her family after the festival’s sad incident.
