Epixode, the dancehall musician, has been praying over a dream in which he saw Bose Ogulu, the mother of Burna Boy, a Nigerian Grammy Award-winning singer, anointing him as the next famous performer to follow in the footsteps of her son.
Epixode has stated that if his ambition comes true, he will be able to follow in Burna Boy’s footsteps and become Ghana’s first Grammy award-winning artist.
“I had a dream that I met @burnaboy and his mum said I will be the next big thing after burna .. THIS DREAM WILL SURELY COME THROUGH,” he wrote in a tweet dated January 5.
According to critics, the reigning VGMA Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year is pursuing clout because his alleged fantasy occurred at a time when his colleague Shatta Wale is embroiled in an ugly spat with Burna Boy.
