Popular Ghanaian musician cum socialite Sam Safo, popularly known as Showboy, better known as Showboy in a recent write-up on X (formerly Twitter), has revealed he wanted to sign Sherif Ismail Mohammed, better known as Black Sherif, to his label.
According to the man who spent some prison time in the US, he has always believed in Black Sherif from his early days and realized he was a genius, and he was the light in him.
Taking to X, Showboy said:
All publicity is good publicity… I made that video and made the blogger post it … I promoted his album my way … I can never hate on Blacko .. ask him to tell u .. I was ready to sign him when I was in prison .. Blacko is 2hype by heart …. He grew up watching me n learning …. He’s a trapper and one of the best …. U think if I didn’t see light in him ago try sign am . And even more make sure snap his formal manager hold him down … BLACKO IS FAMILY ….
I’m a huge fan … a Dey listen to Blacko in music before the first and second sermon before he ever got exposure .. . U can ask him … I have always believed in him and still believes in him ….
