Kwesi Arthur has acknowledged that when attending Tema Senior High, he was interested in pursuing a career in journalism.
He revealed he intended to enroll at the University of Ghana but was unable to do so because of the arrears he owed to the previous secondary school in an interview on e.
tv. Ghana’s eRequest with host Abigail Appiah.
He said, “I planned to enroll at the University of Ghana when I finished in 2012, but I was unable to do so since my school fees were not paid, therefore my results were blocked.”
He then said that a buddy had accessed his results for him in 2014, and he is still unsure of how the friend achieved them.
In response to a question about how long he has been pursuing music, the young singer said, “I discovered I was excellent at music; I could rap at a very early period in my life.
“
He expressed a desire to enroll at the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) after learning his WASSCE results and revealed how he wished he could pursue both a successful music career and a career as a journalist. The BET Awards Viewer’s Choice Best International Act 2018 contender regrettably stated that he was unable to follow his passion of becoming a journalist since he could not afford the enrollment costs at GIJ.
He said, “I was interested in journalism; I enrolled at GIJ but withdrew because I could not afford the costs, so I chose to focus on music.”
The well-known rapper said, “Human beings make plans and God laughs,” showing his ignorance of how things would turn out and how music would propel him to fame.
