I will decide who will be the next president of Ghana – Kevin Taylor
Controversial media personality Kevin Taylor has sparked debate after claiming that he will determine who becomes Ghana’s next president in the 2028 general election.
Speaking on a recent episode of his online show, With All Due Respect, Kevin Taylor stated that the traditional belief that voters alone decide election outcomes is outdated.
According to Kevin Taylor, gone were the days when voters had to join long queues to vote for who they thought deserved to be the president, noting that in the next general election, he decided who would become the next president
He noted that, many would think he is bragging but that is not a brag, insisting that the 2028 general election is dependent on him.
Speaking about the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, Kevin Taylor stated that it is not an exception, saying he decides who becomes the NDC flagbearer.
The outspoken commentator further suggested that the days of citizens believing their votes alone determine election results are over, arguing that political influence now extends beyond the ballot box.
Kevin Taylor also claimed that his influence is not limited to the general election, asserting that he plays a significant role in determining who emerges as the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
