I’d be happy to perform at any political party event – Akwaboah
Ghanaian highlife artiste, Akwaboah will not compose any song for a political party.
However, he is willing to perform for any political party if he is booked for a performance at the rallies.
He is of the view that composing a song for a political party is more divisive because it puts you as an artiste in a box.
Akwaboah explained that he would rather compose a song for the country in order to express his patriotism rather than a political party.
“It will be difficult to compose a song for a political party. However, if I’m booked to perform at their event, I am a businessman so I will heed to their call. I will rather compose a song for Ghana because if the country goes well we will all enjoy,” he told Abeiku Santana on Accra-based Okay FM.
