In a recent Instagram post, the singer and actress revealed that her vocal coach recommended the Chinese herbal mixture to help maintain her voice. Initially unaware of its ingredients, she recalled:
“They’re like, ‘What are you drinking?’… I don’t know. My vocal coach told me to drink it.
”
It wasn’t until later that Simpson discovered the unusual ingredient. Instead of being put off, she embraced it, joking: “If you want good vocals, you gotta drink snake sperm!”
