In a recent interview on Cape Coast’s Property FM, Ghanaian comedian Waris, whose real name is Abdul Waris Umaru, revealed the challenges of earning money as a skit maker.
He claimed that even after posting the footage on social media, they occasionally don’t make a dollar from skits in the absence of capital and ongoing support.
“Making money from skit making is difficult because it requires a lot of investments, and you won’t get money if you don’t put in money,” he said.
