Kids In Tourism Ghana Pay Courtesy and Appreciation Call on Her Ladyship Nichole Colbert

Kids in Tourism Ghana paid a courtesy and appreciation call on Her Ladyship Nichole Colbert, a High Court Judge in New York, on Saturday, 17th January, 2026.

The visit took place at the DAF Embassy of the Diaspora in Accra during Her Ladyship’s official visit to Ghana. The meeting aimed to express gratitude for her support towards the DAF Kids In Tourism USA cultural exchange trip in 2024.

The delegation was led by Nana Akua Afriyie, co-founder of the Kids Tourism Club of Ghana. During the meeting, Nana Akua Afriyie presented a token of appreciation to Judge Colbert in recognition of her role as one of the key sponsors of the USA tourism and cultural exchange program.

The gesture symbolized the impact of her contribution on the lives of the young participants.

Judge Nichole Colbert’s support played a pivotal role in empowering the Kids In Tourism team through exposure to international culture and education.

During the USA trip, the kids visited major tourist attractions such as Times Square and Harlem. They watched the Lion King stage production, experienced an underground train ride, and enjoyed a boat trip to the Statue of Liberty.

These activities provided practical learning in tourism, history, and global culture.

Ambassador Dr. Erieka Bennett, Founder of the Diaspora African Forum, also commended Judge Colbert for her generosity and commitment.

She described Judge Colbert as the kind of African Diaspora leader needed to support youth development initiatives.

Ambassador Dr. Erieka Bennet also commended Judge Cobert’s generosity, stating, that Judge is the kind of African Diaspora we need more of.

Ambassador Bennett highlighted the importance of partnerships in creating opportunities that promote cultural understanding and leadership among young people.

The courtesy and appreciation call reaffirmed the shared vision of grooming young tourism ambassadors through education, exposure, and mentorship.

Kids In Tourism expressed deep appreciation to Her Ladyship Nichole Colbert for her support, time, and lasting impact on the initiative.
