Reports on social media are saying that famous Ghanaian broadcaster Kwame Sefa Kayi has been dismissed from Peace FM by Despite Media Group after 26 years.
The exact reason for his firing is not known. People started talking because he hasn’t been on the ‘Kokrokoo’ morning show regularly.
Some believe Dr. Osei Kwame Despite and Fada Dickson decided to end the show.
There are rumors that Kwame Sefa Kayi, often called Chairman General, may have started working at Sompa FM, a top radio station in Accra.

Some think Sefa Kayi left Despite Media to pursue a career in politics, wanting to fulfill his political ambitions after joining the media company in 1999.
You may remember that Kwame Sefa Kayi apologized to NDC party leaders like Sammy Gyamfi because they boycotted his morning show after five years.
He mentioned that there is a mutual need between him and the NDC party, which caused some party supporters to worry about his statements, even though he admitted he was wrong to argue with them.
“I take responsibility for the feud between Kokrokoo and the NDC. I apologize. They should come, and let’s work together, ” he humbly apologized on phone.
