We all could recall when Ghanaian rapper Samuel Medikal Frimpong was very relevant in the music industry and that when someone wanted a hit song, he was the best one to contact.

Fast forward: after the rapper got married around 2020, his reign as the king of hits gradually diminished, making it hard for him to get a hot song in 2023.

However, this is an observation a Twitter user with the user name the_marcoli_boy has also made and has asserted through his Twitter page that the back-to-back VGMA hiplife/hip-hop act of the year has lost his relevance after he got married. However,  a verse in Kwesi Amewugah’s prepare song that is making waves on social media, especially Snapchat, is far bigger than Medikal’s hits when he got married.
