Laws Are Working Under My Gov’t, Motor Riders Now Obey Traffic Lights – Akufo Addo Says
According to President Akufo Addo, law and order are operating more effectively in Ghana under his government since even motorcycle riders now abide by traffic laws.
On March 8, 2023, he made this statement while delivering the State of the Country Address on the floor of the legislature.
Even motorcycle riders now stop at traffic lights; therefore, things are getting better, the president declared.
According to him, the widely acknowledged improvement in law and order should be attributed to his government’s significant investment in the Ghana Police Service and the hiring of additional officers into the service, combined with the wind of change that is blowing under the leadership of Inspector-General of Police, Dr. Georged Akuffo Dampare.
