“Let’s Wait For Akufo Addo’s Term To Be Over Before We Criticise Him” – Lucky Mensah

Lucky Mensah, a veteran Ghanaian highlife artist, has encouraged Ghanaians not to criticize President Akuffo Addo till his term is up.
The highlife singer condemned the wave of attacks directed at President Akufo-administration Addo’s during an interview with Obibini TV.
Lucky Mensah was one of the Ghanaian musicians that backed Nana Addo and his party in the run-up to the 2016 and 2020 national elections. Nana Addo has three years left on his mandate, he claims, and he should be given that time before passing judgment.
“Nana Akufo-Addo has not completed his time; if you tell me he is not performing, that is how you view things; he has three years remaining.
Let us allow him to complete his term before making an evaluation,” he says.
Lucky Mensah’s remark comes in the wake of repeated critiques of the country’s rising fuel prices. According to the highlife singer, Ghana is not the only nation suffering from rising fuel prices.
Ghana isn’t the only country where fuel costs are skyrocketing. If gasoline costs rose on the world market, it would have an impact on Ghana, and all Ghanaian politicians are aware of this. “
