“Monkey Worked” – Bridget Otoo Reacts To Joselyn Dumas Appointment

Under the government of President John Dramani Mahama, actress and media celebrity Joselyn Dumas has been named the Deputy Director for Diaspora Affairs.
She will support Kofi Okyere-Darko (KOD), who was named Director of Diaspora Affairs last week, in her new position.
On February 26, 2025, Obuobia Darko-Opoku posted on Facebook to confirm KOD’s appointment.
After the news broke out, media personality Bridget, who has been a staunch fan of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), made a cryptic post that clearly shows she is not happy with her colleagues getting appointed while she, who has been for the party member all this time, is being ignored.
After Joselyn Dumas was appointed, Bridget wrote ‘Money worked,’ which is actually coined from the popular saying ‘Monkey dey work, baboon dey chop,’ but meanwhile we are waiting for Bridget Otoo’s appointment by the president of the republic of Ghana.
