Wondered why Ghanaian rapper cum singer Martin King Arthur, better known as Kofi Kinaata, remains one of the most disciplined people in the Ghanaian entertainment scene.
Talking to Kwaku Manu in a recent interview, the highlife musician revealed his father, despite being a pastor in a church, didn’t impact his career.
Kofi Kinaata just revealed that his dad was a principled man and that he remembered one time when he went out for a show to see the big men in those days in the music industry.
However, he returned late at dawn; upon his return, he saw people outside their homes telling his dad to calm down. Kofi revealed he was not beaten by his dad on that day because of how furious he looked.
They signed a bond that he would never leave home without permission.
Kofi also revealed that his dad gave him a designated haircut during childhood; he couldn’t miss church either.
