“My Parents Are Now Proud Of Me, Intially The Wanted To Arrest Me For Pursuing Music” – OliveTheBoy

Ghanaian music star Joel Ofori Bonsu, better known as OliveTheBoy, in a recent interview with Delay, opened up about the deal he had to go through to become this big, being a son of a pastor.

Olive in the interview revealed that before the release of his first studio album, his parents came across the flyer he posted and asked him to bring it down, insinuating the police would arrest him, which prompted him to know his parents are not in support of him doing music.

However, he had to find a way to persuade his mom, who can also convince his dad, to accept him because their home is very religious.

Moving on and answering Delay’s ‘Are your parents proud of you now?’, Olivetheboy revealed that his parents are proud; sometimes they brag about his name and even come to support him at events.
