According to Davido, the Nigerian singer, he has no personal relationship with Burna Boy or Wizkid.
When the multi-award-winning artist appeared on the Breakfast Club show, he talked candidly about a number of topics, including his impending wedding in August in Miami, USA.
Although a personal connection between the three of them appears doubtful, Davido said that a partnership between him and his two other coworkers isn’t impossible, implying that some people benefit from their distance from one another.
He clarified that the three of them are no longer the only ones in the music business, referring to a new generation of gifted musicians forging their careers. This, he contended, makes the idea of a distinct “big three” obsolete.
“I don’t have a personal relationship with them. I did at a point, but I don’t anymore. I feel the culture is so big, and the conversation is bigger than the big three right now; other artists are globally known now.
“The three of us can make a record together, but I feel some people around us do not want that to happen. I believe people make money from us, not having a personal relationship.”
