I Don’t See Myself As A Feminist – Ini Edo

Ini Edo, the well-known Nollywood actress, has explained why she does not identify as a feminist.
In a recent discussion with Taymesan for the “Tea with Taypod” podcast, she discussed this in relation to the divisive term “feminist.”
Even though she enjoys advocating for women’s rights, she claimed that she does not identify as a feminist because she was taught to admire and respect men.
She claims that neither fighting for equality with males nor vying for the “King” role, as most women do, is her calling.
She asserted that as long as her spouse does not mistreat her or prevent her from being herself, she is satisfied with being a woman and a “queen.”
The 40-year-old actor in a movie remarked:
“Being a feminist means different things to different people.
I love to protect women’s rights, and I feel the need for equality, but I am also a structured person.
I have been raised a certain way.
I was raised to respect and value men.
