Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a popular Nigerian preacher, televangelist and the founder of Christ Embassy, addressed the fire event at the church’s headquarters during a live Sunday service.
He saw this sad situation as a chance for growth and progress, not as an accident.
During his sermon, the respected Man Of God made a parallel to a previous incident in 2001, in which the building weathered a bombing and was found structurally sound. This demonstrated the church’s resiliency.
In light of the latest fire, Pastor Chris stated his intention to build an even more stunning structure, stating unequivocally that the forces of evil will be defeated.
Thankfully, there were no casualties in the fire, and the Lagos Fire Service promptly responded to contain the situation.
