Okyeame Kwame runs away from MUSIGA Presidency over Corrupt tag
Rapper, Okyeame Kwame says although he will love to become the President of MUSIGA, his wife and family’s fear for the “corrupt tag” has made him rescind his decision.
Okyeame Kwame was motivated to compete for the Presidency of MUSIGA after Obour’s tenure.
However, in a recent interview, he has said he is no more interested in the position because his wife and family have asked him not to compete for it because it could destroy the OK brand which he has built over the years.
He indicated that his wife mentioned to him that after a year of being a President, he will be tagged by some musicians as a thief and that will soil his reputation for life.
Okyeame Kwame in the interview said ” If I get the opportunity I will go for MUSIGA president, because I believe I have the ideas and knowledge I can use to help the music industry, I have learnt a lot, been to the University to learn about Music, I have a Masters degree in Marketing Strategy but my wife, mum and others have all asked me not to go near it”.
