Ruthy counsels Sheila Acheampong not to push herself into music just because her father is a musician

Ernest Owoahene Nana Acheampong, also known as Lover Boy, is a seasoned musician widely regarded as one of Ghana’s most important Highlife musicians.

Sheila, the musician’s daughter, has stated that she is inspired to establish her own music brand rather than following in her father’s footsteps, owing to her family history and her father’s standing in the local music scene.

She recently revealed how her father’s and sister Gyakie’s success influenced her to pursue a career in music after years of procrastination.

But, as Ruthy points out, it is not necessary to pursue music because one’s father is a music legend, as in the case of Sheila Acheampong.

Ruthy believes Sheila Acheampong has no clear-cut music talent and is simply riding on unnecessary controversies to thrive in the game, but she won’t get anywhere unless she changes her format.
