I Am Not A Fake Celebrity And I Went There To Serve – Sally Mann Hits Back At Critics Over Her Outfit To Empress Gifty’s Mother’s Funeral

Entertainment critic, Sally Mann has rebutted critics who chastised her for her so-called tacky outfit at the funeral of gospel musician Empress Gifty’s mother.
During her popular show on Adom TV, Sally addressed the backlash, emphasizing that her choice of attire was both deliberate and practical.
She explained that she attended the funeral not to showcase wealth or style, but rather to support her friend, Empress Gifty, by helping to serve guests.
“I am not a fake celebrity who feels the need to dress extravagantly for every occasion. I went there to help my friend, and I didn’t see the need to overdress. My priority was to be helpful, not to make a fashion statement,” she said.
The outspoken entertainment critic added that although she often dresses better than most Ghanaian celebrities she opted for a simple jumpsuit for the funeral to ensure ease of movement as she assisted with various tasks.
“I opted for something modest and comfortable—a simple jumpsuit—because I knew I’d be moving around a lot. What was more important to me was being there for Empress Gifty, not impressing others with my clothes,” Sally stated.
Sally’s response comes after social media users criticized her appearance at the funeral, labelling it “tacky” for such an important event.
Sally Frimpong Mann emphatically asserted that she dresses better than all the female celebrities in Ghana (this is not up for debate).
