Ghanaian artiste, Epixode, has expressed disapproval of how some entertainment blogs and stakeholders are comparing Reggae and Dancehall musician, Samini and Afrobeat cum Highlife artiste, Kelvyn Boy.

In a Facebook post, he noted that “some blog” had compared Samini and Kelvyn Boy, asking who excels at live performances.

The composer of ‘Atia’ found this disrespectful and was upset by it. He felt that comparing them mocked the legacy and achievements of artists.

Epixode urged people to refrain from such comparisons and to allow young artists the time and space to grow into legends.

He wrote: Seen some blog comparing SAMINI 2 KELVYNBOI when it comes to LIVE PERFORMANCE n asking who is better. None of my business tho but I feel it’s very disrespectful and like making a mockery of legacy n catalog. Leave the kids to grow and become legends if not One day We will also tell our kids that mentor came before concert party.”
