“So Building The Hajj Village Is The Country’s Priority?” – Kwadwo Sheldon Asks

In order to give Hajj pilgrims in Accra a respectable experience and a comfortable setting, Ghana’s president, John Dramani Mahama, laid the foundation stone for a brand-new Hajj village on Friday, February 28, 2025.
When the project is finished in the allotted 24 months, it will have a mosque, a clinic, conference rooms, a terminal building, offices, a market, a catering center, and residential apartments.
This has raised a lot of concern, especially from NPP sympathizers, as they feel the president of the land is doing just what the previous government did with the National Cathedral.
Kwadwo Sheldon, one of the loudmouth pieces of the NPP, through his official X page, asked why the Hajj Village is being built with state funds. Is it that we have good roads or social amenities?
In Sheldon’s own words, he wrote:
So you’re saying that building a Hajj Village is this country’s top priority, and you see nothing wrong with that? Amazing! Sensational!! Suddenly, we have good roads and stable electricity, so why not build a Hajj Village with state funds? Alhamdulillah!
