“I Hope The Black Stars Return Stronger” – Kwesi Appiah After AFCON Draw

Ghana has been advised by James Kwesi Appiah, head coach of the Sudanese national team, to get ready for upcoming competitions.
Not being able to make it to the 2025 AFCON, in his opinion, is proof that football has changed and that the greatest teams will always make it.
He hoped Ghana would have advanced from their group, but that didn’t work out.
“In many interviews after the draw put Ghana in our group, I expressed my desire that both Ghana and Sudan would advance. It is regrettable that Ghana was unable to advance.
“
Although I’m not thrilled about it as a Ghanaian, football has changed, and every nation must adequately prepare for tournaments. He told CAF media, “I hope Ghana takes this as a lesson and returns stronger in future tournaments.”
