I’m Inspired By Drogba And Henry – Antoine Semenyo

According to Bournemouth attacker Antoine Semenyo, he drew inspiration from Didier Drogba and Thierry Henry when he was younger.
The Ghanaian attacker claims that watching the footage of former Premier League players helped him get better in his sport.
With ten league games played thus far, the Ghanaian international is poised to have his most successful season in the English top flight.
Under Andoni Iraola, the attacker has been among Bournemouth’s top players this season.
He says that observing the Frenchman and the Ivorian helped him grow over the years.
“It was actually one of the assistant coaches at the time at Bristol that suggested I should be watching a lot of clips from my idols. He suggested Embolo from Monaco. He felt like my play style is very similar,” he told Premier League TV.
“I watched him, Henry, and Drogba for inspiration: movement, working on heading, just footwork, just those sorts of things. I used my time watching them. I was out for three to four months.
It was a lot of watching. I use the time wisely to watch them and include them in my game.”
