Ahead of the last 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches, the best player from Ghana has chosen to forgo the renowned No.
10 shirt.
It’s unknown if this choice was made for personal reasons, to ease the burden that comes with the number, or to allow other players to don the recognizable shirt.
Regardless of the number he wears, Kudus is still dedicated to serving Ghana and helping the national team succeed despite this shift.
This growth coincides with continuous conversations over leadership positions within the club, but Kudus appears to be more concerned with giving the Black Stars his best effort than with the prestige or symbolism that frequently goes along with particular positions or numbers.
