Sumsum And Lookalike, Sharaf Mahama Finally Meets

At the inaugural Ashanti Festival, Yaw Adu, well known as Sumsum Ahuofe in Kumawood, met Sharaf Mahama, the son of President John Dramani Mahama.

The comedy actor was ecstatic when he met Sharaf Mahama on Saturday, April 12, 2025, the first day of the Ashanti Festival (AshantiFest), during a trophy presentation ceremony following a football game at a nearby community park. The footage was posted online and was captured on TikTok.

While acknowledging him as his “brother” and a “future president,” Sumsum Ahuofe in the video compared himself to President John Dramani Mahama’s son.

Sharaf came out laughing at the actor’s comments, and they shook hands firmly and talked.
