“There is no engagement between me and ishowspeed” – Shatta Wale Denies Hosting IShowSpeed, Backs Local Creators Instead
Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has dismissed reports suggesting that he is set to host popular American streamer IShowSpeed at his mansion.
The clarification comes after Dklassgh.com and other platforms reported that the musician was preparing to receive the streamer during his visit to Ghana.
In a post shared on X on SUNDAY morning, Shatta Wale stated clearly that there is no engagement between him and IShowSpeed.
According to him, no official communication has taken place between both parties regarding a meeting or hosting arrangement. He added that if IShowSpeed’s team decides to reach out, he has no issue with that, but as of now, there is nothing planned.
Shatta Wale further explained that other Ghanaian content creators and streamers, including Made in Ghana, would make more sense to engage IShowSpeed during his stay.
He noted that such creators are better positioned to connect with the streamer and showcase Ghanaian digital culture.
The musician also expressed appreciation in advance, stating that he would gladly support and promote these creators if they get the opportunity to meet IShowSpeed.
His statement has put to rest speculation surrounding a possible meeting and has shifted attention to Ghana’s growing streamer and content creator community.
