The definitive list of nominees for the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) was announced this Saturday, March 15, 2025, marking the end of weeks of anticipation for music fans and industry professionals across.
The best of the best were nominated for the awards scheme, according to Charterhouse, who are the prime producers of the biggest music awards scheme in the country.
During the nomination announcement, stakeholders of the music industry were invited; DJs, producers, music directors, bloggers, media personalities, and dancers were present.
However, Ginger of KSS Media had the opportunity to interview the manager of arguably the largest dance group in the country, Dance with Purpose (DWP).
According to Quable, manager of the dance group, he felt disappointed when a category for the best dance group was not introduced; he felt it was biased on their side because since producers and videographers are honored by the award scheme, dancers should also be recognized because they contribute their quota in making the music industry a success.
Quable, on the other hand, revealed he is very optimistic that in the few coming years, the work of dancers will be recognized since they also play an active part in making music successful.
